Oladele T. Michael
Michael Timilehin OLADELE is a graduate of Childhood Education/Social
Studies from the premier university of education in Nigeria, Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu-Ode. He
proceeded for his Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in the prestigious premier university in Nigeria,
University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Michael is currently on his PhD programme at Tai Solarin University of Education,
Ijagun, Ijebu-Ode.
He is a Global Youth Ambassador for Theirwrold, UK; a member of Early Childhood Association of Nigeria (ECAN),
Pacesetters Leadership Club (PLC) and the founder of Spotlight EduCare, a non-governmental organization he co-founded
based on his passion for children with a vision to ensure proper education and care is given to children and to
ensure a stimulating environment through parents and other educational stakeholders to promote all-round development
of children.
Michael volunteers to give lectures at webinars, especially on topics that relate with education of young children; he
also organize yearly webinar (with the Spotlight EduCare platform) to commemorate the International Day of African Child
which holds on 16th June of every year.
Michael OLADELE is by virtue of education, a researcher. He conducts personal research on education and also serve as
research assistant for individuals and organizations. One of the notable research work where he served as field
investigator was the YouthCare Development and Empowerment Initiatives’ study on Girls and Boys Voices Towards Gender
Based Violence in Primary Schools: Perspectives from Selected Countries – Kenya, Nigeria, Jamaica and Malawi.
