Ishola Akinlade Salami
Ishola Akindele Salami is a Doctoral Degree holder in the area of Early Childhood Education cum Preschool and
Primary Mathematics. He is a Childhood Education Advocate and currently the Head of Early Childhood Education Unit,
Department of Early Childhood and Educational Foundations, University of Ibadan.
He is a MacArthur Foundation Visiting Scholar to Bagwell College of Education, Kennesaw State University, Atlanta
Georgia, USA. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Fort Hare, South Africa. He has presented academic papers
in national and international conferences and workshops.
He also has over 50 publications to his credit; most of which can be found on Google scholar.
One of Dr. Ishola Akindele Salami's notable invention is a hip-hop song to solve mathematical problems aimed at enhancing
knowledge of pupils at the primary school foundational level following dismal performances in mathematics examinations.
